There is such great energy in a room for kirtan. You can literally feel the vibrations of your own sound, the sound of others, the sound of the universe.
Check out the kirtan at Yoga Sensations this weekend with Dr. Wil Trebing.
Here are the details from Chikeola’s announcement:
NEW! Candlelight En-Chanted Saturday Eves!
The very busy and full of energy Dr. Wil Trebing has generously offered to lead KIRTAN at the studio. With Kirtan/Chanting, we move into the estatic! We open our hearts, we offer our voices without reservation and merge into the blissful joy of oneness. If you are an amateur singer, a shower singer, a musician, and everything else in between, just join us. We need you all, the more the merrier! Call the studio or email to register. Evenings by suggested donation of $10.
With a mixture of laughter and tears I watched this 7 minute clip from the movie “Y Yoga”. In this clip Diamond Dallas Page, the wrestler who describes himself as Mickey Mouse with tattoos, brings Yoga to troops in Iraq.
It’s incredible the way he modified the practice for the soldiers and beautiful the way they responded. Please let there be healing, strength and peace for all those men and women who risk their lives every day.
