After their winter training on the mat, they say their flexibility has improved, “I gave it a shot with Dan, and we got addicted,” Buck said.

I am a ‘little bit’ of an anatomy freak as I am always curious and wanting to learn more about the inner workings of the body. I say a l’ittle bit’ because while I dragged my boyfriend to the IMAX movie, The Human Body I wasn’t quite sure I could stomach the Bodies Exhibit when it was in New York.
Don’t you ever wonder which muscles lift the rib cage when we breathe? Continue reading “Anatomy Freaks will Love Bandhayoga.com”

Yesterday, after taking a class at a studio I had never been to, I talked to the teacher and told her how much I enjoyed her class. As we talked, I mentioned I was a teacher and that’s when it happened. You may be asking “what’ it is?” Continue reading “Elysa Answers “What is Safety?””
Yogi’s who enjoy the sounds of Michael Franti and Spearhead can get blissed out with his new DVD. I haven’t seen it yet but if you have, please comment and let us all know what you think.
Franti is well known not only for his music but also his peace activism as founder of 911 Power to the Peaceful Festival and a 2005 documentary, I Know I Am Not Alone, filmed in the Middle East.
Jivamukti founders Sharon Gannon and David Life appear in the video along side the musician. Reviews say the practice is entirely focused on Peace and in Jivamukti fashion incorporates philosophy geared toward modern issues.

Seems I am drawn to Yoga humor these days.
Did YOU know Dubya does Yoga? Maybe he needs to work a bit more on satya, asteya, aparigraha, I hope his “Yogi” will soon teach him the Yama and Niyama.
Enjoy, it’s all just for fun, right?
See the site here.
“…My yogi says to focus on the importance of my head and brain while in this pose. “A country cannot prosper without a wise king to guide it, just as a human body cannot prosper without a wise brain to guide it,” he tells me. Dang. That sounds pretty good. I wonder what it means. ” Read the whole page.
