Beach Yoga Friday 9/4
6:00pm West Beach – All are welcome
West Beach, Stamford, CT

Weather forecast looks really lovely for tomorrow night’s Full Moon!
So, it’ another…. “Spur of the Moment” Beach Yoga and how about the option for a Spur of the Moment Sailing Adventure too. Ike invites us aboard his home, the Spirit Seeker, for a post Yoga sail off into the sunset to breathe away the work week and marvel at the Full Moon rising over the Sound.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me at West Beach at 6:00pm for practice on the sand in the far corner away from the parking lot where it is quieter (facing the water – that will be all the way to the right). Bring a blanket AND beach towel or mat, insect repellent if you find it supportive, an open mind & a smile! Payment & registration NOT required. Karma donations of kindness, dollars, hugs or even some good vibes will be appreciated.
Sunset/Moonrise Sailing Option – Open to a maximum of 6 ‘Spirit Seekers’, $50/person.
We will depart together from West Beach after Yoga, to board the 39 ft sailboat, lovingly maintained and captained by Ike Rodriguez. She is docked around the corner at Palmer’s landing, sail by 7:30pm for breathing and meditation as the sunsets and then sit back and marvel at the full moon rising over the water. We will return back between 10 – 11pm. A light snack and drinks will be provided. Since this is sooo spur of the moment, you must call me to reserve space for you or you and friends – 524-2919!

Option 2 Parking without a permit: Continue past West Beach on Shippan Avenue and turn left onto Iriquois Rd. Follow Iriquois all the way to the end & you will be facing a grassy hill, the beach is on the other side of the hill. Park on the street near or around Brennans Restaurant on Iriquois, Wapawama, Ponus Ave. or Rippowam. The beach is very close and can be accessed by the paved foot path that wraps around and over the grassy hill. Google Map
