Why Try Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is new to Dew Yoga but it is an ancient technology that combines breathing, movement, meditation, stretching, relaxation and sound to work on every aspect of your being. In every class, your energy will be systematically raised through the chakras and your nervous system and glandular system will be strengthened and balanced.

Kundalini Yoga works powerfully on many levels – physical, emotional and spiritual. Some of its myriad benefits include: reduced stress, weight loss, sharpened concentration and focus, increased self-confidence, relief from depression and fatigue, enhanced creativity, improved physical fitness and expanded spiritual awareness.  It is truly fitness for body, mind and soul.

Jackie Tepper, who is now teaching Kundalini Yoga at Dew every Tuesday morning from 8:-9:15, makes the practice very user-friendly.  It is appropriate for people of any age, fitness level, body type, and experience. Modifications are always provided and whether you’re looking for and intense physical workout or a meditative spiritual practice, you will get what you seek . . . and more.
